Team Work: Work
done by a number of associates, usually each doing a clearly defined portion, but all subordinating personal prominence to
the efficiency of the whole; as, the teamwork of a football eleven or a gun crew.
ü Stick together as a team, no one
man army shit, and if you do that discuss it with your team before you go and commit suicide.
ü do not stick so close to each other,
so one grenade can blow the whole team.
ü Never leave the hostages or VIPs
with 1 team mate always have good secure areas and perimeter around hostage or VIPs area, also make sure to have at least 2 people with them at all times, also have two people guarding the door and pathways.
ü when a team mate is planting the
bomb, make sure to throw smoke in the door ways, and the area where bomb is to planted, in order to add cover for your team
mate planting the bomb, it also helps him from getting shot in the ass.
ü always crouch unless throwing a grenade.
ü if you are snipping always have an
automatic gunner with you to produce cover fire when attacked.
ü always make your
team aware of areas where you plant mines or claymores; also if you see a mine and do not blow it make your team aware of
that as well.
ü do not place mines near hostages
or VIPs opposing team will use that to their advantage to win the match if need to.
The SOCOM II Ranking
System
The SOCOM II Ranking system is based on the Chess ranking system developed by Dr.
Arpad Elo.
It
is much more complex in order to take into consideration the SOCOM II game format, which has multiple players per team, multiple
rounds, and individual performance differences. Your Score (as seen when you select a player from the Player Ranking Screen)
is the master value that tracks your relative score. The first time you play SOCOM II online you start with 1000 points. If
the highest ranked Ensign does not have 1,000 points, you will be ranked as a Lieutenant before you even played a Round. Even
though you have yet to accumulate any statistics, you would have a better ranking than many players that have been playing
SOCOM II online because they may have lost games and died a lot while you have not.
Relative Strength of the Teams: The Scores of members of your team are
compared against the Scores of the opponent's team to determine who is 'expected' to win. Winning against stronger teams will
increase your Score faster while winning against weaker teams will increase your Score much slower.
Number of Players in the Game: Full 16-player Games have larger Score
moves than say an 8-player Game. Number of Rounds won by losing team: If you win by a sweep (i.e. winning the first 6 Rounds
in a best of 11 Game), your Score will go up more than if you just won by one Round (i.e. winning 6 Rounds and losing 5 Rounds
in a best of 11 Game).
Individual Performance: Doing more
to contribute to the victory like getting more kills, having fewer Deaths, Rescuing Hostages, Creating Breaches, Destroying
Bases, etc. will result in a larger personal Score increase...
